International

I have participated in several international programs as both a student and an instructor. I am fortunate to have the opportunity to merge my personal passion for international issues with my research and teaching objectives. My academic career has taken me to Andorra, Bangladesh, Belgium, Colombia, England, Greece, Icealand, Italy, Spain, Scotland, Turkey, and Finland. In addition, my personal travels have also contributed to my interest and understanding of international issues.

I have completed the Grameen Bank Basic Training Program in Dhaka, Bangladesh where I investigated microfinance issues. Grameen Bank and founder Dr. Muhammad Yunus won the Nobel Peace Price in 2006 for their advancement of microfinance in the developing world. I have also taught and lectured abroad throughout my time as a graduate student. Below are a few pictures from my international experiences.
